Active Ingredient: Tirzepatide

Uses:

• Treatment of Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus in adults
• Weight management in adults with obesity or overweight
• Improves blood sugar control when used with diet and exercise

How It Works:

Mounjaro is a dual GIP and GLP-1 receptor agonist that:

• Increases insulin production when blood sugar is high
• Reduces liver glucose production
• Slows stomach emptying to control post-meal sugar spikes
• Increases feelings of fullness to reduce appetite

Dosage Forms Available:

• 2.5 mg/0.5 mL prefilled pen
• 5 mg/0.5 mL prefilled pen
• 7.5 mg/0.5 mL prefilled pen
• 10 mg/0.5 mL prefilled pen
• 12.5 mg/0.5 mL prefilled pen
• 15 mg/0.5 mL prefilled pen

Administration: Once weekly subcutaneous injection
